All Day Sunday Tickets - £5 (excludes select screenings)

Filmhouse Members get £1.50 off tickets between Monday-Saturday, excluding Sunday. 

When buying tickets you will be asked to opt in to paying £2 on top of the ticket price. Your donation helps us with the immediate challenge of running Filmhouse at a reduced capacity. Please opt in if you if you can afford to do so. We can also claim Gift Aid on if you are a UK taxpayer. Learn more about how you can help Filmhouse by donating.

Filmhouse participates in the Meerkat Movies 2-for-1 Tuesday/Wednesday ticket scheme. Tickets can only be purchased at the box office in person or over the phone.

Filmhouse participates in the MUBI GO cinema subscription scheme.

General Policies

We encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment. 

Tickets may be booked by credit card via telephone on 0131 228 2688 or you can book online.

We offer ticket exchanges in person at box office, via telephone on 0131 228 2688, or by email at [email protected]. Tickets may be exchanged for another screening or for a credit note (redeemable against tickets and merchandise at box office at the customer's convenience). Cash refunds are offered in the event of illness, Covid-19 related isolating, cancellation, and when a screening is sold out, but are subject to circumstance and managerial discretion.

Programmes are subject to change, but only in extraordinary circumstances.

You will receive a confirmation email when you have booked, which will have an arrival time on it.

Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

The management reserves the right of admission and will not admit latecomers.

On the House

We are aware times are tough and we don’t want you to miss out on visiting Filmhouse, so we have made limited free tickets available for every screening for people that are experiencing financial difficulty. If you want to use one of the free tickets please select the 'On the House' ticket type when booking online. Maximum of 4 per person every 4 weeks.

Wheelchair Spaces

If you require tickets for the wheelchair spaces available in our cinemas, you can buy tickets for these spaces in person at our box office by contacting us on Tel. 0131 228 2688.

Alternatively please get in touch with us by email at [email protected], leaving your contact details and the name, date and time of the show you wish to see. We will then contact you to make your booking.

If you require a companion to facilitate your visit to the cinema, we offer free places. These tickets can be booked when you buy your own ticket. We participate in the CEA card scheme where you can get a free ticket for your companion at any participating cinema in the UK. Access further information on the CEA card.
