Part of the Edinburgh Short Film Festival Season
We are all tied to something, perhaps this is a universal sensation? The programme explores feelings of being bound to something or someone, ties to a forgotten time, the laws that constrict us, or even the ties of family and friendship.
Featuring two Scottish-made dramas, an incredible documentary from Afghanistan, animations from Finland and Ukraine, as well as an outstanding short from Iceland,
and the UK premier of an engrossing Italian drama that screened at Venice.
We’re also excited to welcome some of the filmmakers to the screening and discussing their films and the world of short film after the screening.
GO HOME - Razan Madhoon
WHEN MOM IS GONE - Zeynep Kececiler
RECIPES FOR BAKING BREAD - Sara Nesteruk
KIN - Ruby Cedar
DRINK MY LIFE - Marzibil Saemundardottir
INCHEI - Federico Demattè
