On Saturday 30th November Filmhouse will be taking part in St Andrew's Fair Saturday, a movement for thousands of artists and cultural organisations to get together to support social causes through their events.
First held on December 1 2018, St Andrew’s Fair Saturday is Scotland’s contribution to the fast-growing international Fair Saturday movement, launched in Bilbao in 2014, as an annual social and cultural response to Black Friday. The proceeds will go towards worthy charities and causes which promote fairness and sharing around the world.
Join us at Filmhouse on Saturday 30 November, and any donations you make on the day will go towards funding our Senior Selections project, which invites audiences aged 60 and over to enjoy classic and contemporary cinema and share their thoughts afterward with a cuppa. This project has given Edinburgh residents a regular, affordable and sociable occasion to enjoy new films and old favourites and make new friends with their fellow audience members.
You can make a donation online, in person at our box office or in one of the donation boxes in the foyer on Saturday 30 November.
