The Velvet Queen

High up on the Tibetan plateau amongst unexplored and inaccessible valleys lies a very special sanctuary of the wild world, home to rare and undiscovered fauna. In The Velvet Queen, filmmaker Marie Amiguet (La vallée des Loups) accompanies Vincent Munier, one of the world's most renowned wildlife photographers, and novelist Sylvain Tesson (In the Forest of Siberia) on an adventure. For several weeks, they explore the valleys searching for unique animals and try to spot the elusive snow leopard, one of the rarest and most difficult big cats to approach.
